Published Work

Similar to the “Editorship” page on my profile, my published work consists largely of comments done through the internal processes of the “Prose” team, commentary which we will use to argue for or against the publication of another’s work. With respect to my own articles that have been published, I have had to go through the head editor of “Reviews” to first submit my proofs, or my own draft submissions. Upon review, I can either accept any changes made to my original submission, as per the editor, or I can opt out or come to a compromise if the submission in its current form does not satisfy me. While this process is indeed arduous and cumbersome at times, it is necessary to the functioning of our organization as it provides a system of “checks and balances”. My first article focuses on the Netflix series “Monster”, which chronicles Jeffrey Dahmer’s murderous spree. While I do not glorify or pedestalize the work, I provide social commentary meant to foster a more nuanced dialogue among students and cinephiles alike, serving as an academic catalyst who lights the proverbial “fuse”. My second and third articles also cover pop culture and media, and I would love for you to check them out! (Please refer to the “CONTACT ME” link on the Homepage to send me an email inquiry). In case you are interested in my own oeuvre, here is a list of my publications for Glass Mountain (URL’s):

A Morbid Sojourn: The Commodification of Trauma
The Witcher: From Literary Canon to Mega Franchise
Babylon: Paying Homage to a Hollywood influx
